The new version is lighter than the original Edge browser. Microsoft Edge is the latest version of the internet browser and released in January 2020, based on Chromium. Its features include syncing with Google account & services, tab-browsing, automatic translation, and spell-checking of web pages.
It was later transferred to Linux, macOS, iOS, and Android, where it is now the default browser. It was built using free software components from Apple WebKit and Mozilla Firefox. It was first published in 2008 for Microsoft Windows. Google Chrome is a cross-platform web browser that the Google Company developed. It was completely changed the capabilities and performance of the browser.
